Tree Removal

Our team is specialized in treating damaged and decayed trees. So, if your tree is decaying, our professionals can tell you what's needed to be done : if its health can be restored or the tree needs to be removed, we can help. Our professionals are specially trained to treat dying, decaying or trees that may present a danger to someone or their property.
The colder seasons can take a toll on older or infected trees. If you need a tree or multiple trees removed, we take a seven step approach to ensure the safety of our crew, the property and surrounding area.
Our first step is the clear the area a width greater than the length of the tree and ensure it is landing on as flat a surface as possible.
Once an area is cleared, the next step should be to inspect the tree, especially if it is already leaning. We also inspect for areas of decay as this often influences the direction of the fall.
Our next step is to ensure we have a clear path for either free movement or to haul any remaining debris. If there are obstacles around the tree such as shrubbery or other trees, our team of professionals marks and identifies anything needing protecting.
The size of the tree often dictates the type of equipment required. Once we evaluate the tree and customers request, this often lets us know what equipment we bring to the job.
When we are ready to begin the cut process, we map out a V-shape at a 45-degree angle normally at the bottom of the base along the side of the tree with which it is to fall. We often only need about a quarter of the tree's diameter to cut in order to secure movement once the backcut is completed.
At this point we will begin the backcut opposite to our original cut a couple inches above the undercut in order to relieve the pressure on the tree trunk.
The tree is ready to fall at this point. Each individual involved moves away and out of the path of the falling tree.
